1. Pizzeria Uno – Cheese casserole, par-baked dough and more tourists than Navy Pier
2. Vito & Nick’s – Extra greasy (factory-made) cheese, lifeless crust – akin to Madison’s Pizza Pit (great at 3 a.m.)
3. Pizza D.O.C. – More cheese than a Wisconsin dairy rally; oddly characterless crust despite wood-burning oven
4. Aurelio’s – Even if it’s from the original store (and from the old oven) the crust still disappoints and the toppings all taste mass-produced/chain-like
5. Spacca Napoli – Despite artisanal approach, finished pies are like eating a bowl of soup surrounded by soggy dough with barely enough char at the edges (despite drop-dead gorgeous wood-burning oven)
