2010 Barn Burner Bar-B-Q at Lambs Farm
This was our seventh BBQ event, I was very pleased with the outcome. We took 23 of 46, In Chicken & Brisket we took 21st place, plus we beat Johnny Trigg (Godfather of BBQ) in Brisket. I was stoked with that. We took 14th in Ribs & 31st in Pork(Shoulder). I have attached our pictures of our boxes. See what you think.

Another reason why CPS is GREAT!!!!!
Most school garden produce is forbidden fruit in CPS lunchrooms
But one thing the more than 40 gardens have in common is that none of the produce ever finds its way into CPS lunchrooms. Instead, because of rules set by the district and its meal provider, the food is sold or given away.

Jared Allen suggests you try eating bear meat
Minnesota's sack master recounted his offseason hunting exploits with 790 The Ticket in Miami, and said going after bear was the best.
"Oh yeah, I got black bear up in Idaho, I got a pure David deer down in Florida. I think that's about all. Let's see. Some coyotes and stuff like that down in Texas. But probably the thing I was most excited about was the black bear I got up there in Idaho."
What he learned about bears:
"Bears don't smell too good. They're full of ticks and all sorts of crap on their fur. But you just tie a rope around it and start pulling."

It's a little bit sweeter meat and it can be tough. ... A lot of people will put it in stew. So you've got to at least try it. That was the first bear I'd got, so you've got to at least try the meat and it wasn't too bad."

At age 48, Chelios finally hangs up the skates
In NHL history, only Hall of Famer Gordie Howe was older than Chelios when he played, skating at 52 for the Hartford Whalers during the 1979-80 season almost a decade after leaving the Red Wings.Chelios also is the only player in NHL history to appear in at least 400 games with three different teams. Known for his strict workout regimen and surprising endurance given his age, he played the fourth-most regular season games in NHL history (1,651) and the most postseason games in NHL history (266).

Should the Blackhawks keep Niemi?
GM Stan Bowman had 48 hours to either keep Antti Niemi at $2.75 million or let him walk as an unrestricted free agent and go after a veteran goalie such as Marty Turco. Rumor has it, we signed Marty Turco to a 1 year at $1.65 million!!!!!
