Jared Allen suggests you try eating bear meat

Minnesota's sack master recounted his offseason hunting exploits with 790 The Ticket in Miami, and said going after bear was the best.
"Oh yeah, I got black bear up in Idaho, I got a pure David deer down in Florida. I think that's about all. Let's see. Some coyotes and stuff like that down in Texas. But probably the thing I was most excited about was the black bear I got up there in Idaho."
What he learned about bears:
"Bears don't smell too good. They're full of ticks and all sorts of crap on their fur. But you just tie a rope around it and start pulling."

And does Allen eat what he kills?
"Oh absolutely, absolutely. I've got a new cookbook coming out and we've got some bear recipes in there. A little braised bear. So bear, it ain't too bad. It's a little bit sweeter meat and it can be tough. ... A lot of people will put it in stew. So you've got to at least try it. That was the first bear I'd got, so you've got to at least try the meat and it wasn't too bad."

At age 48, Chelios finally hangs up the skates
In NHL history, only Hall of Famer Gordie Howe was older than Chelios when he played, skating at 52 for the Hartford Whalers during the 1979-80 season almost a decade after leaving the Red Wings.Chelios also is the only player in NHL history to appear in at least 400 games with three different teams. Known for his strict workout regimen and surprising endurance given his age, he played the fourth-most regular season games in NHL history (1,651) and the most postseason games in NHL history (266).

Wear Your Love for Superdawg
Sometimes, we love so deeply that our love must be proclaimed. We’re speaking, of course, of our local lust for deep dish from Gino's, the unignorable craving for a wiener from Superdawg, or the deep hunger that can be satisfied only with a piled-high corned beef sandwich from Manny's. Now, you can take a deep breath, steel your nerves, and announce your gustatory proclivities thanks to a t-shirt series from faux-vintage purveyor Hometown Classics. At $28 a pop, they're not cheap (in fact, Manny's sells an identical version of their shirt for eight bucks less), but can you really put a price on true love?Hometown Classics Chicago Restaurant Tees [Official Site]

He sees LeBron as a runaway slave

Jackson said Gilbert's comments were "mean, arrogant and presumptuous."
"He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers," the reverend said in a release from his Chicago-based civil rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. "His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship -- between business partners -- and LeBron honored his contract."
LeBron is not a slave, but Dan Gilbert thinks so. Owning a team has its privileges, but declaring the ownership of people is off limits.
What is next??????

Now what for the Chicago Blackhawks?
The team announced Monday that it would match San Jose's four-year, $14 million offer sheet for defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson, a restricted free agent. That means someone else has to move for Chicago to meet its salary cap.
Sources told ESPN.com on Monday that one of the players the Hawks are dangling is Brian Campbell. Mind you, moving his hefty contract seems to be a long shot. He has six years left on his deal, which pays $7.14 million per season; plus, he has a no-trade clause that features his right to choose eight teams to which he will accept a trade. A source said Campbell had not yet been asked for his list of eight teams.
Our ESPN Chicago colleague Jesse Rogers is also reporting that Patrick Sharp could be another option. He's got two years left at $3.9 million, a much easier contract to move. But Sharp is also one heck of a player.
Elsewhere Monday as we await the results

Top 5 Overrated Pizzas List
What a Tool!!!! Really, He thinks Lou & Gino's are better that Original Uno's. He was a Douchebag when he was judge on Iron Chef.1. Pizzeria Uno – Cheese casserole, par-baked dough and more tourists than Navy Pier
2. Vito & Nick’s – Extra greasy (factory-made) cheese, lifeless crust – akin to Madison’s Pizza Pit (great at 3 a.m.)
3. Pizza D.O.C. – More cheese than a Wisconsin dairy rally; oddly characterless crust despite wood-burning oven
4. Aurelio’s – Even if it’s from the original store (and from the old oven) the crust still disappoints and the toppings all taste mass-produced/chain-like
5. Spacca Napoli – Despite artisanal approach, finished pies are like eating a bowl of soup surrounded by soggy dough with barely enough char at the edges (despite drop-dead gorgeous wood-burning oven)

Happy 55th Birthday!!!! Jersey's finest
Glenn Danzig's new studio album, Deth Red Sabaoth, is currently streaming on CBS Radio's "The Street Date", which also features an in-depth video interview with Glenn.
The 11-track collection, produced, recorded and penned by Danzig, is laced with Glenn's lycanthropic growls and blues-infected wailing. Tracks including "Black Candy," "The Revengeful," and the first single, "On A Wicked Night," emit a spectral glow to rival the highest points in Danzig's colossal discography. Part 1 of the exquisite two-part "Pyre of Souls" opens with acoustic guitar, haunting piano, Glenn's plainsong vocal, and an almost dirge-like feel; Part II explodes with electric guitars and a driving, mesmerizing cadence.
Joining Glenn in the studio for the recording of Deth Red Sabaoth were guitarist Tommy Victor (Prong, Ministry), a Danzig cohort on and off since 1997, and drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Seventh Void). While Kelly has toured with Glenn intermittently since 2002, this is the first time he has recorded with the band. Glenn handled the bass chores for most of the album, and played drums on "Black Candy."
